The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why”. – Mark Twain (Check out his house in Hartford)
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I consider Connecticut one of the most amazing places to live in the United States. It has so much to offer with four seasons and tons of activities. Locally, there is so much to enjoy – boating, swimming in the sound, walking by the beach or through the woods, concerts, fairs & festivals, great theater, restaurants and lots of shopping. Plus, in addition to all of the amazing things to see and do here, we are perfectly located to enjoy New Haven and all that Yale has to offer or to take a quick train ride into NYC.
In my 20+ year career as a Realtor, my great joy has been helping my clients make their homes in this amazing community of ours. Whether they are discovering it for the first time, or moving within the area, sharing my knowledge of and love for this special part of Connecticut is truly a privilege.
I bought my first house in Milford at 27 and instantly felt right at home in this amazing town. I had found my people. Deeply involved in Eastbound Theater at The Mac (It was MFAC back then) I met my husband, John, a lifelong Milford resident. I was immediately adopted by his extensive network of friends and family. We started our married life in Ft. Trumbull, where we lived when our son Jack was born.
Moving to Woodbridge a year later, we joked that our new home was our “occupational hazard house” – If I weren’t a Realtor, I would never have stumbled across it. But here we were, in a 1910 farmhouse that we slowly remodeled over 19 wonderful years. An unending source of projects and creativity, I finally have it just right. So of course it’s time to move back to Milford.
My step-children went through the Milford school system and my sons, Woodbridge and Amity. All of them have benefited from the commitment of exceptional educators and made lifelong friendships.
Being a lifelong Connecticut resident (30 years of which in Milford and Amity), I have a deep appreciation for all that our community has to offer. From Milford’s beaches, and the bustle of the Green and harbor to the rich agricultural heritage of Orange, Woodbridge, and Bethany. Fairs, festivals, farmers markets, Christmas markets, tractor parades, and High School musical productions — the list is endless — all add to the family fun and culture to be found here.
While it’s true that we live surrounded by natural beauty and rich history, my goal with The Faces project is to highlight the people that make Milford, Orange, Woodbridge, and Bethany the exceptional places that they are.
