I was born in the Bronx, NY but raised in Cheshire, CT. I’ve lived in my Milford home for 35 years, where I raised my family and run my small business. Between my business and my community activites, I lead a busy life but in my spare time I enjoy gardening, painting and spending time with my family. I love Milford and can’t imagine living anywhere else.

About Susan Glennon

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.

I have three adult children, their SOs and eight grandchildren from their blended families. My family is my heart, and I am blessed they all live in Connecticut.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?

I have a small business and have been a licensed early childhood educator for 30 years. Children are amazing and I love supporting their growth, creativity and inquisitive nature. While not technically a career because it’s done without pay, I am also an elected member of the Milford Board of Education. This allows me to give back to my community, and, as an extension of my life’s work, gives me the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of a greater number of young people. They are our future, after all!

Q: What advice would you give to people?

Do what you love and embrace life with authenticity.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?

Probably doing much of the same, but maybe on a smaller scale!
